COUPLES
RETREAT SCHEDULE The typical family weekend is 10-12
families or 10-15 couples. Everyone arrives Friday afternoon
between 3 and 5pm. After dinner at 5:30, we meet at a
designated location for a 7pm activity and evening session.
Saturday morning starts with breakfast and then a series of
sessions on subjects chosen by guests at sign up. After
lunch everyone participates in activities they signed up
(horseback riding, quad 4x4 adventure, tree canopy zipline,
canoe or kayaking on the lake, fishing or a hiking on the
many trails) and just enjoy the wilderness location. Then
after dinner there is a 7pm evening session, and if the
weather permits, we have a bonfire
afterwards
with s'mores. On Sunday there a special morning session and
a guest couple speaking. After lunch guests can do anything
they want including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking,
frisbee golf, and more (Special activities: horseback
riding, etc. from Saturday are not offered on Sunday). Lunch
is the last meal served. |

FAMILY RETREAT SCHEDULE
The family schedule is similar to the couple's schedule,
except after dinner on Friday and after breakfast on
Saturday morning, the children go off with the volunteers
for some various activities while the parents attend
sessions.
On
Saturday everyone meets for lunch in the dining facility,
and after lunch the parents and kids participate in special
activities they signed up for like horseback riding, quad
riding, zipline, nature walk, and boating. After dinner, we
come back together for an evening session for the parents,
and a bonfire for the family afterwards (story telling and
s'mores). After breakfast on Sunday, there is a morning
session for the parents while the kids are with the
volunteers, then we all come back together for lunch. After
lunch families can do anything they want including swimming,
boating, fishing, hiking, frisbee golf, and more (Special
activities: horseback riding, etc. from Saturday are not
offered on Sunday). Lunch is the last meal served. |
